FREDERICK HODGES AND ADAM SWANSON
Double Trouble: Hot Piano Duets
Rivermont BSW-2211

Frederick Hodges and Adam Swanson are two of the most well-known and highly-regarded ragtime and "novelty" pianists in the world today. Hodges has served as pianist and singer with Don Neely's Royal Society Jazz Orchestra and the Peter Mintun Orchestra and currently enjoys a career as silent film accompanist in his native California and at film festivals around the world. Swanson is a recent two-time winner of the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest. For the past several years, Hodges and Swanson have teamed up at ragtime and early jazz festivals around the United States, and they have finally brought their fresh and exciting duets to disc in a thrilling program of ragtime, novelty, and popular song favorites. 45 minutes.
